It all started in 2019 when our Co-Founder, Braden listed his apartment on Airbnb. Daulton, our other Co-Founder,  was kind enough to let Braden live on his couch in Texas for three months  while Braden started developing his property management company Nomadics Inc. They worked together to help turn Daulton’s house into Short Term Rental number two. The second of many to come.

Fast forward to 2021, Daulton wanted a change of scenery after 9 years of sales and Braden’s company was growing much too quickly. With Braden managing over 30 properties, 10 being Daulton’s, they decided it was time to join forces.  Thus, Keychain was formed. A seamless solution to the extensive work to find, set-up, and manage short term rentals.

What if I could own a vacation rental and earn income without actually managing it?

• Who would manage the day-to-day?
• Who would make it look cool and attractive to entice guests?
• Who would handle guest interactions?
• Could I share ownership of the vacation rental with friends or family?

That seed of an idea grew into a company named Keychain. Since that lightbulb moment in 2021, we’ve grown to be obsessed with the idea of making it easy for anyone to invest in vacation rentals.
